If a
student takes an average of two minutes to answer each question in the
software, then it would take approximately 10 hours to review all of the
questions and detailed explanations in each Mathematics, reading, or
Science version of The FCAT Simulation Software.
The
Mathematics, Reading, and Science versions also include a "Benchmark
Reviews - Lesson Plans" section that contains detailed, educational
subject specific, information and test taking tips. These reviews, based
upon the item specifications for the FCAT, are designed to teach
students techniques to master all of the mathematics and reading
benchmarks. It takes an average student approximately 15 hours to review
all of the material in each of the Mathematics, Reading, and Science
versions.
According
to Test Tools, Inc. market research, it takes an average student
approximately 30 hours to review all of the Mathematics, Reading, and
Science material contained in the orientation guide, benchmark reviews,
and test simulations in The FCAT Simulation software for each grade
level.
